What was originally put on to entertain the children of the local farmers has grown over the years to become a popular Show attraction, traditional races with prizes for the children and open to everyone. We believe this adds to making The Wasdale Head Show and Shepherds Meet a Real Family Day Out – Entries are FREE, taken on the day and are open to all children on the Show-Field. The £250 will be used to pay for prizes for children’s races.

Whitehaven Harbour Youth Project is supporting 8 youngsters to cycle Coast to Coast in August 2014. The youngsters have never completed a challenge as tough as this and have been training hard to ensure they are successful! One of the things they wanted most was matching cycling tops, so we obliged and bought them some personalised clothing to ensure they looked like a team!!
