Lois raises funds for Macmillan

Lois completed her 750m swim at the Great North Event, in her words:photo

“Thank you so much for all donations and support. It has been a very exciting time for me. When we got there I was quite nervous at first but the atmosphere was great. When we first got in it felt very cold but after a while I got used to it and had a great time. The swims at the 3 sisters really helped me but Windermere is much bigger. Coming under the little finishing bridge was the best bit, I loved it. Again, thank you all so much for the money. See you early on Saturday – I’m at the school summer disco on Wednesday.”

We’ll let her off for not swimming Wednesday, the disco sounds better!!

We collected £200 at swimming last week (thank you for that) which we doubled to £400. Lots of swimmers also went direct to her justgiving page and donated, so she absolutely smashed her target. Huge congratulations!!
