Rhiannon Gornall has been competitively racing for 2 years and enjoys racing on the road.  She is a 15 year old girl who is currently in her GCSE year at school.  Despite the pressures of school and GCSE’s, Rhiannon has been representing the North West this year and is currently leading the North West Road League with only 1 round to go.

She has to travel up and down the county to ride National Series races to include going to the Isle of Man and recently finished 12th overall in the Scarborough National Series Race 2015.

The Dave Hitchen Fund has provided Rhiannon with £500 to help her pursue her dream of progressing through the Junior ranks and the Under 23’s and ultimately to become a professional cyclist.
