1st Kirkham & Wesham Scouts is a long-established group, made up of circa 100+ members of boys & girls across Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, and Explorers. They are a very active group, participating in many sports, camps and voluntary / fundraising work. They are one of the only scouting groups in Lancashire, who camp under canvas for a week and cater for themselves.
In-order to do all these activities the Scout group need a reliable minibus. Their current minibus is quite old and has broken down a number of times. Through fundraising, donations & grants 1st Kirkham Scouts want buy a new mini bus, which will cost around £18,000.
Epic Kidz has donated £500 to 1st Kirkham & Wesham Scouts to go towards their fundraising for their new minibus. The new minibus will allow the group to continue to access the many sports and activities they currently partake in, which are invaluable to help them develop skills and become exemplary members of the community.
