2 years ago we were introduced to Rhiannon Gornall. She was 15 years old, studying for her GCSE’s and riding competitively in the North West Road League and the National Series. The Dave Hitchen Fund provided Rhiannon with a £500 grant to help with her travel costs for the year so that she could continue to race up and down the country.
Rhiannon’s cycling has been improving year upon year. In 2016 she raced nationally, on the North West Youth Tour and the Youth Tour of Scotland (where she finished 9th overall).
Her goals for 2017 are to gain experience racing at women’s national level in the U.K. as well as racing abroad. The Dave Hitchen Fund has provided Rhiannon with a £500 grant to help her with the travel costs so that she can race internationally as well as in the U.K.
