£250 donated to Brinscall Village U14’s

Brinscall Village U14’s Reds play in the Central Lancashire Junior Football League. This 2017/18 season the team comprises of 16 players who all live and go to school in the Chorley/Leyland area. Along with 3 new recruits, 10 players have been part of the club since the age of 7. All the players enjoy being part of a grassroots team and club which encourages the love of sport.

Several of the players & their parents are regulars at the Preston PedalFest Cycle Sportive where they look after the food stop, making sandwiches and ensuring all the cyclists are fed and watered all day long. It’s a fantastic team building activity for all of the players involved and they have been a regular feature at the food stop since the ride began in 2016.Brinscall

Riders donated to the football team by making voluntary donations on the day of the PedalFest Sportive. Epic Kidz also made a £250 donation to the football team. As a result of the Epic Kidz donation and the kind generosity of the PedalFest riders, the football team have now been able to purchase some much needed new training kit for the growing lads in the team.

Brinscall Village Football Club have thanked all the sportive riders & Epic Kidz for their support and generosity.
