Today we’re incredibly excited to launch our SwimmingKidz Open Water Safety Project into primary schools. Starting with Lancashire schools, we’re offering a FREE workshop, delivered by qualified tutors, to educate children with regards to the risks of being near water. During the workshop, we’ll deliver practical sessions to teach youngsters how to respond if they find others or themselves in danger. Each year group session lasts 45 minutes and the tutors will visit the school for the full day, delivering to children in years 1-6. We’re currently delivering in Lancashire and Wigan, with the aim of expanding the whole of the North West in the near future.
